The Workshops

Crepe Making: similar to “Painting With a Twist,” a trained associate will lead a live demonstration for small to large groups in which the party will learn how crepes are made, learn the art of making crepes, and finally make their own crepe as their meal to enjoy. All this while sharing a bottle of wine, laughs, and fellowship

Wine Tasting: A gathering in which a trained associate will lead a wine tasting and pairing class where the party will learn about various French wine regions, basic wine education, wine profiling techniques on the nose and palate with a wine aroma kit, and pairing fundamentals. Arts &Crepes will bring all the wines necessary for the side by side tasting as well as a variety of hors-d’oeuvres with which to pair the wines and enjoy. 

The 5 Mother Sauces: Just about any sauce in western cooking is a descendant of the classic 5 French mother sauces. In this experience the party will learn how to make each of the 5 sauces (bechamel, espagnole, tomate, hollandaise, veloutee), variations and descendents of the 5 mother sauces and what foods they work well with, a brief history on French cooking and food culture, and finally they will be able to enjoy all 5 sauces made with a spread of breads, pastas, and other classic French eats.
